Konami has released a new — and possibly the final — live action teaser trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Once again, the teaser switches between two scenes — a lab/operating room where Raiden has been operated on and a scene where Raiden is strapped to a chair and tortured is shown. The first part of the video is some of the scientists/doctors saying that the work on Raiden appears to be completed. In the following scene, Raiden (as a young man) is being tortured for revealing sensitive tactical information. A man who sounds very much like Solidus intervenes and talks to Raiden about the advantages of using a blade in combat, before torturing him with his dagger. Raiden is then shown being handed a blade in the lab/operating room before the code “01000101 00110011” appears and the trailer fades to black. Like with the previous trailers, no gameplay footage is shown.
The description of the trailer on YouTube describes it as the final encrypted video, but whether or not it’s the final live action trailer is unspecified.
