New Trailer For Sleeping Dogs Shows Georges St-Pierre’s Influence On The Game’s Combat System

Square Enix has released a new trailer for open-world action title Sleeping Dogs that shows Georges St-Pierre’s influence on the game’s combat system.

The video consists of alternating footage of GSP demonstrating a number of his moves and then in-game footage, much of which is footage of the game’s combat. GSP emphasizes that patience is key — the player should wait for the opponent to make a mistake, such as a missed strike, and then take his/her shot.

The trailer promotes that the game has authentic mixed martial arts, the ability for players to upgrade their skills, and “intense cinematic action” for what is called “next level melee combat.”
