Raiden is supposed to be slashing up consoles early next year, but when? A new ad suggests the game could be coming out as soon as next February.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has only thus far been given an “early 2013” release time frame, but VideoGamer has spotted an advertisement for the game in Intent Media’s Sourcebook (described as a “guide to interactive entertainment agencies and service companies”) that shows a February 2013 release for Raiden’s fast-paced action spin-off from PlatinumGames.
Konami hasn’t yet officially announced a release date for the game, but has revealed that a demo of the game will be accompanying the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection. Speaking of announcements, though, Hideo Kojima has also confirmed the existence of Metal Gear Solid 5 and announced that he’ll be showcasing the FOX Engine that powers the game next month.
February 2013 would seem so close, yet so far away, especially given our positive impressions of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance at E3. Whatever the release date actually is and whenever it’s announced, though, PSLS will be sure to keep you posted.
