Mirror’s Edge, Bad Company “Too Good to Kill”, Says DICE

DICE executive producer Patrick Bach has stressed that the Mirror’s Edge IP is one that the Battlefield 3 developer loves, with the studio not killing the chance of a sequel because “it’s too good to kill.”

Speaking during an interview with IGN, Bach also applied his comment to Battlefield: Bad Company 3.

The Bad Company IP is still something we love, and it’s very dear to me because I worked on both titles. We have no information with where we are to a sequel to Bad Company, so I can’t tell you anything about that IP.

Upon being asked whether Battlefield 4‘s development spells bad for the Bad Company franchise, Bach stated that DICE will “never kill something that’s great.” Bach then teased fans by saying:

And then of course, we have other projects in store for you.

DICE recently said that Battlefield 4‘s existence “doesn’t mean there might not be a Bad Company game again in the future.”
