Square Enix has released a Japanese trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, and it actually looks pretty great despite lacking Kingdom Hearts’ actual sequel. The graphics work really well in HD due to the colorful somewhat cartoony aesthetic, and I’m genuinely excited to see the new HD scenes from Kingdom Hearts 3528/2 Days.
And while we’re being optimistic, HD collections (not that this is a collection) are almost always precursors to new full fledged releases, so after the inevitable Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix hits you can start getting your hopes up about Kingdom Hearts 3 for probably the first time in years.
