Skyrim Content on PS3 is ‘Close’

It’s been a very long and bumpy road for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DLC on PlayStation 3. Dawguard missed its original release date on the system thanks to the fact that ‘the performance isn’t good enough in all cases’, which later meant that Bethesda wasn’t even sure if PS3 would even see any Skyrim DLC. Then, a brand new piece of DLC titled Dragonborn was announced for the Xbox 360 which allows you to ride dragons, but a PS3 version wasn’t even mentioned.

Today though, Bethesda sent out this tweet:

To update: we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC.

It’s impossible to ascertain just exactly what this means, but since they lumped the PC and PS3 together, it could mean something. Since the PC already has Dawnguard and Hearthfire, the only new content would be Dragonborn, possibly telling us that the PS3 will only see the newly revealed content.

Of course this is just speculation, so stay tuned to PSLS for further information about Skyrim DLC on PS3.
