Originally released as a PS3 title on the PSN last year, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken was announced for PlayStation Vita earlier this year. Today, they have now confirmed that the game will come to the handheld in the first quarter of 2013.
If you’ve never heard of Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, it is a 2D side-scrolling action adventure game that places you in the shoes of a chicken tasked with taking down the Penguin regime. An original story for sure.
In this Vita version, there will be brand new chapters, new puzzles, more humor, a Hardboiled difficulty that sees you taking down the Penguins with a pea shooter and large knife, full native resolution, as well as front and rear touch support.
Not stopping there, the co-op campaign mode will work with both online and ad-hoc play, even allowing you to choose from two new characters: Sniper Guy and Agent-H.
