January 3, 2013Written by Jason Dunning

If you’ve found that your life has lacked both dance and magic since the calendar rolled over to 2013, Gaijin Entetainment is here to help you with their latest title, Dance Magic, which will arrive on the North American PSN this Tuesday, January 8th.

The new PlayStation Move supported dancing game will feature a storyline that has the people of Earth, who all happen to be dancers and warriors fighting for peace, developing a form of biological energy known as Dance Magic, that can only be realized by dancing. After Dance Magic falls into the wrong hands, you then have to take part in a dance-off to save the planet.

Dance Magic will come with over 20 tracks to play through, with more songs available for download through the PlayStation Store at launch, a full campaign, free dance, and online co-op dancing.

To get a good idea of what you can expect with the gameplay, check out the official trailer:

No price for Dance Magic was detailed, so check back next week for our PlayStation Store Global Update to find out just what it will be.
