Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Shoots up PS2 Classics on January 29th, More Classic Rockstar Titles Hitting the PSN in the “Weeks and Months Ahead”

You’ve been waiting for this for quite some time, Grand Theft Auto fans. Rockstar has finally announced that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will be coming to the PS2 Classics section on PSN this Tuesday, January 29th in North America and Wednesday, January 30th in Europe for $9.99/€9.99/£7.99.

As great as that news is, Rockstar also teased that we should “stay tuned for more classic Rockstar titles coming for download to PSN in the weeks and months ahead.” Those classics they are referring to are most likely Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Midnight Club, and Midnight Club 2, which were all rated by the ESRB, as well as a bunch of other titles they published during the PS2 days (Manhunt, anyone?).

We’ll keep you updated on any happenings regarding the Rockstar PS2 Classics, but with January ending in 7 days, the most likely piece of Rockstar news you’ll hear next is about the Grand Theft Auto V cover art.

Will you be picking up Vice City? Or is San Andreas enough for you? Let us know in the comments below.
