After doing 1 million sales in under 48 hours worldwide, the UK sales charts for the week ending March 8th have been revealed, with Tomb Raider ‘comfortably’ dethroning the awesome Aliens: Colonial Marines as the biggest launch of 2013. Not content on just being the best this year, the Tomb Raider reboot across all systems also set a new record for the franchise, beating out previous best-seller, Tomb Raider: Legend.
Moving away from Tomb Raider, other new releases SimCity and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 finished 2nd and 3rd, with previous #1, Crysis 3, dropping 55% to sixth place.
