Nobunaga’s Ambition: Iron Triangle Rated by the ESRB for PlayStation 3

We don’t know if it will be releasing today when the PlayStation Store updates, or at some point in the near future, but Nobunaga’s Ambition: Iron Triangle was rated by the ESRB and is headed to the PlayStation 3.

Debuting as a PS2 game back in January of 2009, expect Nobunaga’s Ambition: Iron Triangle to be a PS2 Classic whenever it hits the PSN in North America. To see if it is out today, be sure to check our PlayStation Store Global Update in the afternoon.

Here’s the ESRB rating description for the E10+ title, which gives you a taste of what the game offers:

This is a real-time strategy game (RTS) set in feudal Japan in which players command soldiers to invade and conquer surrounding lands. Battles take place on a 3D map and are represented by small figures clashing against each other. An opening cutscene depicts a realistic battle in which soldiers shoot and attack each other with swords. During the game, a still image of a man holding a sword implies a ritualistic suicide (i.e., seppuku). Alcohol products such as beer, wine, and sake can be bought and sold by various characters.
