Continuing with Ubisoft in the latest ‘Conversations with Creators’ video, Jean Guesdon, Creative Director, and Sylvain Trottier, Associate Producer on Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, discussed how they’ll be taking advantage of the PlayStation 4 and its many features:
If you decided to skip the 2:39 video, here’s a few choice quotes from Sylvain:
“First thing that is going to change drastically is the graphics. Because we think that visually, with the stronger GPU, stronger CPU, a lot of RAM, we’re gonna be able to exploit this console [a lot] and push the bar visually.”
“All [the] little details that you cannot right now put on the current generation of consoles because the console…is running at 100% right now. So, you cannot add all these little details that are gonna make the game even more beautiful, more immersive. It’s the overall PS4 experience that make the game so much better on PS4.”
The beauty of working with Sony honestly, on this console, for this generation, was the fact that it was built for the game developers, and to be really honest, Sony fixed all the issues that could have been there on the console. And right now, I think it’s up to us, like we have a perfect jewel in our hand.”
