Call of Duty: Ghosts Revealed at the Xbox One Event, for Next-Gen – “It Will be the Best Call of Duty Game We’ve Ever Made” (Update: Video, Sony Confirms PS4)

Update: In a tweet from the EU PlayStation account, they reminded everyone that Call of Duty: Ghosts and FIFA 14 are heading to PS4 later this year as well:

Original Story: We all knew it was going to happen – Call of Duty: Ghosts was announced at the big ‘Xbox One’ reveal for next-generation consoles. Just like on Xbox 360, “all DLC for Call of Duty will launch exclusively first on Xbox One.” Since it wasn’t referenced that just Ghosts would be getting the DLC exclusivity, expect every piece of DLC for every Call of Duty game in the next generation to appear on Xbox One first.

For Call of Duty: Ghosts, you’ll have a dog as a squad mate, there will be dynamic maps and character customization in multiplayer, and, as Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, said, “it will be the best Call of Duty game we’ve ever made.”

Call of Duty: Ghosts launches on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC this November 5th. When the release date for the PS4 is revealed, we’ll be sure to let you know.
