Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Gets Cross Saves Between PS3/PS Vita, 30 Minute Episode Officially Confirmed

Yesterday, we reported that the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster would be getting a new 30-minute episode during the end credits. During the Japan Expo in Paris today (via RPGSite), Yoshinori Kitase, Producer, confirmed the existence of this new content, revealing that it has been recorded with both English and Japanese voices.

As part of a preview shown off at the event, Tidus was present and voiced by James Arnold Taylor, where he recounts some of the events of Final Fantasy X and X-2. Apparently, it’s now two years later and he’s been given a new life to walk alongside Yuna. Then, the full episode begins.

Kitase also confirmed that we can expect Cross Saves between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the HD Remaster for both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2.

If any more information about the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster pops up this week, we’ll be sure to let you know.
