As we head into the season of at least one big release every single week, the chances of seeing a new number 1 game each week in the UK grows mightily, with new #1, PayDay 2, likely only being able to enjoy its dominance for a short 7 days. By finishing first, PayDay 2 becomes 505’s first chart-topper since Sniper Elite V2 back in the 18th week of 2012.
Elsewhere, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 climbed 60% to finish in third, The Last of Us was down 19% and finished sixth, while The Smurfs 2 was down 31% and only managed seventh place.
