Fuel Overdose on the PSN has Sold Just 600 Copies Since Launch in December 2012/March 2013

As we sit on the precipice of Grand Theft Auto V’s midnight release, with millions of sales sure to accompany it, Skander Djerbi of I-Friqiya has some sad news about Fuel Overdose, which was released in December 2012 in Europe and March 2013 in North America.

Well, since then, they are reporting sales of just 600 units. While Dan gave the game a 5.5, some outlets gave it higher ratings (others gave it much lower as well), going so far as to call it “outstanding.” Poking some fun at that last part, Skander implied that some of those reviewers were drunk.

Djerbi even goes so far as to that Fuel Overdose “could even compete for the title of the worst selling console game of all times,” while also encouraging other developers to reveal their sales numbers to “unveil a part of the truth regarding the current situation of the digital download markets.”

If you want to get Fuel Overdose on the cheap, it’s still on sale for €1.99 in Europe, 83% off the regular price of €11.99 (still $9.99 in North America).
