Spike TV VGX Awards Nominees Revealed: The Last of Us & Grand Theft Auto V Lead the Pack

The full list of nominees for the VGX awards has been revealed, with The Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, and Super Mario 3D World (which isn’t even out yet) all nominated for Game of the Year.

A few of the more interesting nominees and categories can be seen below:

Studio of the Year

  • Irrational Games
  • Naughty Dog
  • Rockstar North
  • The Fullbright Company

Best Voice Actor

  • Troy Baker as Joel – The Last of Us
  • Troy Baker as Booker DeWitt – BioShock Infinite
  • Steven Ogg as Trevor Philips – Grand Theft Auto V
  • Willem Dafoe as Nathan Dawkins – Beyond: Two Souls

Best Voice Actress

  • Ashley Johnson as Ellie – The Last of Us
  • Courtnee Draper as Elizabeth – BioShock Infinite
  • Camilla Luddington as Lara Croft – Tomb Raider
  • Ellen Page as Jodie Holmes – Beyond: Two Souls

Best PlayStation Game

  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • The Last of Us
  • Rayman Legends
  • Tomb Raider

Best Soundtrack

  • BioShock Infinite
  • Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • The Last of Us

While you can “vote” on which games/people you’d like to see win each award, the VGX Advisory Council will ultimately pick the winner of each category, except for Most Anticipated Game.
