If you were disappointed by the lack of gameplay footage in The Pledge trailer earlier today for The Order: 1886, Access PlayStation has you covered in their latest video with Ready At Dawn Co-Founder Ru Weerasuriya.

The full 10-minute video features an interview with Weerasuriya where you can learn more about The Order: 1886, with game footage starting at the :45 mark and actual gameplay starting at the 1:40 mark, then spread throughout the rest of the video (skip to 7:25 for shooting and 8:37 for QTEs):

If you happened to have the video on mute when Ru was talking about branching QTEs, here’s what you missed:

“For example, our QTEs will sometimes have branching where you might be able to fail one QTE, and it does not mean you fail the sequence, it just means that it goes on a different path. So that allows people to play… the same exact sequence in multiple different ways and see multiple different endings.”

“It’s not just a question of failing [to push] the button, it’s also a choice of choosing what you want to do. For example, in the last move, we showed the… hero grabbing the knife and killing the rebel, but in the game you will see that there are multiple choices, there are different ways to achieve the same goal.”

For a more direct look at The Order: 1886’s gameplay with game audio, this video from VG247 opens with it, then has more from 2:37 until 3:25:

The Order: 1886 is scheduled to release for the PS4 later this year.
