Narrowing down that June 2014 release window, Square Enix confirmed today that Murdered: Soul Suspect will be released on June 3rd in North America and June 6th in Europe for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
Not wanting to have the price of Murdered: Soul Suspect identical on current-gen and last-gen consoles, Square Enix has detailed the prices of each version of the game in North America (expect Canadian retailers to raise the price if the dollar doesn’t improve):
- PS4, Xbox One – $59.99
- PS3, Xbox 360, PC – $49.99
If you decide to pre-order Murdered from Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, or Walmart (possibly US only for some of these retailers), you’ll be given a digital strategy map. Accessible through your computer or tablet, this map will help you find the locations of hundreds of in-game items including quest givers, collectibles, and Easter Eggs.
For anyone who still hasn’t seen Murdered in action, here’s a gameplay walkthrough from E3 last year (Murdered content starts at 1:07, or skip to 3:30 for everything after you’re murdered):
