PlayStation LifeStyle PlayList: March 29th & 30th, 2014 – Departure Edition

The layoffs and people leaving their studios continued this week, with the cuts at Evolution Studios, Guerrilla Cambridge, and SCE London being the most substantial. If you’re interested, all the layoffs and more will be covered in this week’s Weekly Reaction post by Dan and Alex.

Here’s what everyone is playing this weekend:

Anthony Severino (@Sev_Anthony)

Now that New England is finally starting to defrost from sub-arctic temperatures with the first semi-warm weekend in months, I’m going to get to work on readying my yard for the Spring and Summer. I also have to go through my closet and get rid of some more “fat guy” clothes to make way for my slimmer, lighter self (PS reference FTW). Then my car needs some attention to get all the rock salt and sand out of the carpet. If I have time, I’ll finally get to Ground Zeroes. Although what I did play I hated so I’m not too sure I’ll allocate time to that.

Cameron Teague

My Vita is finally getting some much needed TLC, working on reviews for Deception IV: Blood Ties, Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, and Demon Gaze. I may also try and beat my good playthrough of inFamous: Second Son, though I may not have the time. Oh, and I still need to play through Walking Dead S2 Episode 1.

Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)

I’m planning on finally getting my PS3 hooked up in my new house so I can get back to playing whatever games I was playing on that – Final Fantasy X HD is a strong bet. I’m sure there are a couple PS Plus titles that I’ve dropped the ball on during my move too.

D’yani Wood

Maybe if we get enough done this weekend I can play Civilization V… or The Sims!

Dan Oravasaari (@FoolsJoker)

This weekend I need to get fitted for a tux for a friend’s wedding, and go to a baby shower. But, past that I am actually hoping to dive deeper into inFamous: Second Son, since I had so much fun doing the live stream for it.

Jason Dunning (@Jasonad21)

It doesn’t look like inFamous: Second Son is going to show up by the end of today, so I’ll be stuck playing through Final Fantasy X HD some more, just trying to get all the Trophies I can legitimately obtain. I doubt I’ll be able to get the Platinum trophy though, because I probably missed a one-chance Al Bhed Primer somewhere, and I’ll probably get bored trying to fill up every single node in the Sphere Grid.

John VanderSchuit (@j_vanderschuit)

Dynasty Warriors HIYYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Joseph Fait

I’m actually attending a wedding this weekend, not a lot of time for games 🙁

Joseph Peterson – (@BigPete7978)

I am determined to get the platinum trophy for Hotline Miami. Been playing it on the Vita quite a bit, along with Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD as well. Besides that I will be finishing up my good playthrough on inFamous 2, and beginning the evil one right afterwards.

Louis Edwards

Heading to Napa and then Monterey for the annual BMX NorCal Love Series for a charity event, so I’m hoping I’ll get MLB 14 (PS Vita) to review before we head out on Saturday morning. If not, I’ll head back to school and deal with a nasty little bear/robot hybrid in Danganronpa.

Russell Ritchey

2.2 Patch update for FFXIV:ARR is downloaded and ready to go. Playing BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma has left me wanting to finish off some modes in Calamity Trigger and not get my ass kicked by the computer and/or the internet; so maybe some of that as well. Also, Luftrausers.

What are you playing this weekend? Let everyone know in the comments below.
