Thanks to a mid-March release, and being on PC/Xbox One, Titanfall managed to claim first place on the UK sales charts for all of March 2014, MCV reports (via Videogamer).

Here’s a look at the top 10 selling games in the UK during March 2014:

  1. Titanfall
  2. Thief
  3. South Park: The Stick of Truth
  4. inFamous: Second Son
  5. The LEGO Movie Videogame
  6. FIFA 14
  7. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
  8. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare
  9. Dark Souls 2
  10. Call of Duty: Ghosts

In all, there were 2.14 million games sold at retail in the UK, which represents a 20% drop when compared to March 2013, but a rise when compared to February 2014. Looking back at March 2013, Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, God of War: Ascension, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time were the big releases.
