PlayStation 4 owners will be delighted to note that The Last of Us Remastered is undergoing final QA checks, and is almost ready for release.
Naughty Dog’s Lead Programmer, Jason Gregory, confirmed the news through a Tweet. “Great work @Naughty_Dog! Gold release candidate for #TheLastofUsRemastered #PS4 is in final format QA. Now we wait…,” he said.
Gregory posted a screen shot that shows a bunch of codes, and explained that the developers are building Blu-ray ISOs, each taking over an hour. Additionally, there are 5 SKUs (regions) i.e. languages on-disc.
PS4 owners can be assured that they’re not going to be hit by any unforeseen delays so expect some 60fps excellence on your consoles very soon. The Last of Us Remastered is scheduled for release on July 29.
