Marking the third of six planned DLC packs for Trials Fusion, Ubisoft has announced that Welcome to the Abyss will be released on October 7 in North America and October 8 in Europe for £3.99/$4.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. If you’re a Season Pass owner, the DLC will be a free download.
Bringing along 10 new tracks, 24 challenges, five achievements/trophies, three new squirrels to discover, and new objects for the track editor, here’s the description for Welcome to the Abyss:
In Welcome to the Abyss players leave the clouds of utopia in Empire of the Sky to explore mysterious ruins under the sea. Pristine stone relics mysteriously flow with energy from an unknown power source, enabling ancient machinery to continue operating. This wonder, combined with the proof of worship of an unidentified deity bring up questions for fearless riders to explore. Riders should proceed with caution though; there is more to these ancient ruins than what first meets the eye.
The final three pieces of Trials Fusion DLC will be out by May 2015.
