PS1 Game Strider 2 Coming to PSN in North America, Will be Compatible With PS Vita

Capcom has announced that its 15-year old PlayStation One game Strider 2 is coming to PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation Vita. The developer wrote on its blog:

Good news, guys. The elusive PlayStation One classic action platformer Strider 2, which includes a port of the original Strider for the arcade, is finally coming to the North American PSN Store next Tuesday, October 7th! You can, and indeed should play this jam on your PlayStation 3, PSP, or PS Vita. Spread the word!

Strider 2 was released in 1999 as a sequel to the original Strider from 1989, the side-scrolling platform game that is considered to be one of Capcom’s hit titles prior to the enormous success of Street Fighter II

Anyone planning on purchasing the title?
