PlayStation LifeStyle PlayList: October 18 & 19, 2014 – Within Evil Edition

Evil seems to be within each of our consoles as many of the staff are planning on playing the latest horror title from Resident Evil 4’s creator. That aside, a couple people are playing as vault hunters on Borderlands and others plan on raiding yet another vault.

Here’s what everyone is playing this weekend:

Alex Co (@excaliburps)

I’ll try and finish Shadow of Mordor so that I can finally start The Evil Within! Might sneak in some Destiny and Battlefield, too.

As it stands, I have a lot of games that need playing, and not enough time to do so.

Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with D’yani is the most likely candidate (review incoming soon!), although I hear somebody wants to try Vault of Glass on Hard mode, so I’ll likely be teaming up with my Raid group to run Destiny’s toughest challenge. If I’m feeling particularly bored, I’ll go grab The Evil Within, but let’s face it, I have way too much else to play right now to dive into that one too.

D’yani Wood (@Dyani)

I’ll be playing a little Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with my co-op buddy, which is an awesome side effect of him having to do it for review. I’ll also be playing Pumpkin Carving & Halloween Decorating 2014 Edition. It’s no The Evil Within, but I can still have fun with it.

Dan Oravasaari (@FoolsJoker)

This weekend I plan on trying to get through the Vault of Glass on Hard mode, if I can get everyone together and we don’t spend the whole time dancing in the Gorgon cave. Past that, I will have to pull out some of my crayons and start doodling again like the adult I am.

Louis Edwards (@ftwrthtx)

My wife bought me The Evil Within for my birthday so I know I’ll get some dark time in with that. I just finished downloading both Danganronpa games to my PS TV so I may have to delve into those on the big screen. Will probably play through a couple of NBA games on my way to greatness in NBA 2K15 as well.

Mark Labbe (@MarkyMark255)

I’m going to be finishing up Shadow of Mordor, and will be continuing my adventure into the scary world of The Evil Within. I think I’ll replay some of the levels in Styx: Master of Shadows too, in an effort to collect all of the game’s little coin things.

Mack Ashworth (@GamingWithMack)

I’ve finally got my hands on some capable gear in Destiny, so I’ll finally be trying my hand at the Nightfall Strike. I’ve managed to get my girlfriend addicted to The Last of Us’ multiplayer, so I’ll also be rocking that.

Paulmichael Contreras (@T3mpr1x)

With my Alien: Isolation and The Evil Within reviews finally out, I can play the new South Park Zen Pinball 2 table. Expect a review soon! Now that I’m done with those scary games, I’m going to get back to the free PS+ games that recently released. Spelunky is hard! I’ll also hop on Minecraft, because it has been too long and my railroad won’t build itself!

Ryan (@Decimalator)

I spent almost all my strange coins on a new exotic Warlock helmet in Destiny, but I REALLY want that exotic rocket launcher. I’ll probably be grinding to try to get seven more coins for Truth. When I’m not coin grinding, I will be diamond grinding in Minecraft: Vita Edition or watching the Ducks beat the Huskies.

Zarmena Khan (@Zarmena)

I downloaded Dust: An Elysian Tail out of sheer boredom and I’ve got to admit that it’s totally blown me away. I don’t remember the last time a game sucked me in this much. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet, especially since it’s free via the PlayStation Plus October lineup.

Did you got back to your PS3 for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel? Has The Evil Within managed to scare you too much yet? Let us know what you’ll be playing.
