In a press release, Sony announced today that they have sold more than 20.2 million PS4 consoles around the world as of March 1st, 2015.
If 20.2 million sounds like a huge number, that’s because it is. Compare this to the PS3, which had yet to achieve 13 million units sold in its first 18 months, so Sony reaching 20.2 million PS4 sales in 15 months is an incredible milestone.
Console gaming is alive and well, and doing better than ever. Congratulations to Sony on this massive achievement (or should it be Trophy?). All those PS4s are really going to come in handy when they release Morpheus next year.
