Bloodborne Creator Says He Uses Other Company Presidents “as Enemy Characters”

From Software President Hidetaka Miyazaki talked to The Guardian about Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne, and mentioned that his inspiration for enemy characters comes from a pretty hilarious source.

Now I’m president, I get to meet a lot of other company presidents. They’re such weird people. I’m fascinated by them. I use some of them as enemy characters in our games.

Granted, Miyazaki was probably joking, but it is still pretty funny to think about rival company presidents wandering around From Software’s games in the form of evil monsters. Miyazaki also mentioned that the inspiration from Bloodborne‘s world, filled with huge, Gothic buildings and creepy landscapes, was partially influenced by architecture in Romania and the Czech Republic, which he and his team visited.

What do you think of Miyazaki’s comments? Find any monsters that resemble company presidents yet?
