God of War 3 Remastered PS4 vs PS3 Frame-Rate Test Shows Steady 60fps on PS4

In a quick developer video for God of War 3 Remastered, various members of Sony Santa Monica discuss the new PlayStation 4 title, including Lead Combat Designer Jason McDonald, who said:

I think the most exciting thing is just the fact that it’s 60 frames-per-second. In God of War 1 and 2, we always tried to get close to that frame-rate. In God of War 3, we had to make some concessions to get everything going for PS3, but for PS4, now it can handle everything we did in the past and actually do it at the frame-rate we wanted it at.

Level Designer Chris O’Neill adds that the improved frame-rate makes combat better and you have more ownership over how you behave in combat scenarios.

Testing out God of War 3 Remastered, Digital Foundry performed a PS4 vs PS3 frame-rate test, showing that the PS4 version sticks near their 60fps target during the majority of the Gaia gameplay, while the PS3 version fluctuates constantly from 30 – 60fps:

Have you tried God of War 3 Remastered? What do you think of the frame-rate?
