Japanese Sales Chart: Gal Gun Double Peace Moves 11,000 Copies Across PS4 & PS Vita

Despite a helping of new releases, nothing could stop some older Nintendo titles, with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer winning the week and bringing its lifetime total to over 700,000.

After strong performances from Yo-kai Watch Busters, Splatoon, and Rhythm Heaven: The Best+, Luminous Arc Infinity on PlayStation Vita was the highest-charting new release in 5th with 16,000 sold. Gal Gun: Double Peace, meanwhile, debuted in 12th and 13th on PS Vita and PlayStation 4, respectively, combining to sell nearly 11,000 copies.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling retail games in Japan from August 3 – 9, 2015, according to Media Create:
