Previously expected to launch in Spring 2014 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, Foul Play from Mediatonic and Devolver Digital released yesterday on PS4 in the United States for $9.99.
If you want to spend less – or more – on the side-scrolling brawler though, Sony and PlayStation Heroes are running a special promotion where you can buy Foul Play and be entered to win an all expenses paid trip for two to PlayStation Experience 2015 in December.
Shelly Richardson, Manager of Brand Experience and Activation at Sony Computer Entertainment America, said:
Purchase Foul Play for PS4 for $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $75, or $100 via PlayStation Store to enter and support the USO, Make-A-Wish and The V Foundation. Each dollar you spend on Foul Play will act as one entry for your chance to win a trip to San Francisco for you and a friend to attend PlayStation Experience. You’ll both receive VIP seating at the press conference and panels, front of the line access to play games coming to PlayStation, exclusive PlayStation swag, and developer meet and greets.
Live until September 15, the promotion is only available to those in the United States and you must register online after buying the game to be eligible.
There’s no word on when the PS Vita version will launch, or whether the PS4 version will still include cross-buy.
