Report: Mortal Kombat X & Batman: Arkham Knight Have Sold More Than 5 Million Units Worldwide

It’s been a big year for publisher Warner Bros, with titles like Mortal Kombat X, Dying Light, and Batman: Arkham Knight helping them become the #1 third-party publisher in the US for the first half of 2015, with MKX #1 overall in the US during that time.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, that success has extended worldwide, with Mortal Kombat X and Batman: Arkham Knight selling more than five million copies each globally. LEGO Jurassic World is also impressing, with roughly four million copies sold.

“In the past few years, the studio has shot to the top, thanks to major hits including Batman: Arkham Knight and fighting game Mortal Kombat X, which have each sold more than five million units globally,” The Wall Street Journal says.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was published by Warner Bros in North America, and sold about six million copies worldwide in the six weeks following launch.
