Sony has announced that effective immediately, PlayStation Vue’s Core and Elite packages will be cheaper by $5 per month. Core is now available for $55 per month, and Elite is available for $65 per month. Price of the Access package will remain unchanged. Existing subscribers will be billed according to the new rates in the next cycle.
Sony also announced that PS Vue is now available on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, with the subscription service coming to Google Chromecast later. PS Vue boss, Dan Myers, said in a statement that the company expects Amazon devices and Chromecast to be popular gift items this Holiday. “Now is the ideal time for us to expand PlayStation Vue access,” he explained.
