Firewatch Priced at $19.99 on PS4 & PC, PlayStation Plus Members Save 10% at Launch

When Firewatch launches on February 9 for PlayStation 4 and PC it will be priced at $19.99 (USD), developer Campo Santo announced today.

If you want to save some money on Firewatch, PlayStation Plus members and those who pre-order on Steam can get it for $17.99. Additionally, a PS4 theme will be available separately, or in a discounted bundle with the game.

Campo Santo said on their website:

We’re really excited that Firewatch is finally approaching its release, and we can’t wait to hear what you all think. Thanks for being patient while we put all the finishing touches on this thing and got our launch plans worked out!

In a new FAQ for Firewatch, Campo Santo let everyone know what the game is about:

Firewatch is a single-player first-person video game where you, as a man named Henry, explore the Wyoming wilderness after taking a summer job as a fire lookout. What is supposed to be a peaceful respite from your complicated life takes a turn when you start to question some of the things that are happening to you.

Your only human connection is over a handheld radio, which you’ll use to speak with Delilah, your supervisor, about the things both of you are experiencing.

Since Firewatch is incredibly story driven, “To tell you more would be to deprive you of the joy of of discovery. You’re going to forge a living, breathing relationship and uncover a tense, unexpected mystery.”

As for virtual reality support, they said, “We have no plans to bring Firewatch to VR right now but we’re exploring VR! We like it a lot and will announce it if those plans change.”
