In case you just turned on your PlayStation 4 and noticed you can’t get online, don’t worry! PSN isn’t down, but rather, it’s the planned maintenance that we reported on in mid-February. This is just a post reminding everyone of that.
Yep, this time there’s no hacks, no DDoS attacks or any of the sort; this is something Sony planned. Gamers should be able to play online if they logged in prior to the maintenance period which runs from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. PST.
Routine PSN maintenance Tues 3/1, 9:30pm – 11:30pm PST. Log in prior to retain online play/app access: More details: https://t.co/n4yNReJgzg

Sony has said before that Account Management, PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Video will be unavailable during the maintenance so don’t be surprised if you can play online, but have issues with those other online features. As always you can check the official PlayStation status page for updates, or better yet, go check PlayStation LifeStyle since we update faster.
