Sony Santa Monica Launches “Creatives” Video Series, Watch the First Two Episodes Now

While Sony Santa Monica might be known as the studio behind Sony’s juggernaut God of War franchise, the studio does more than that — a whole lot more, in fact. Sony Santa Monica has helped a lot of developers in making games on PlayStation platforms, and has aptly launched a video series called “Creatives.”

Here’s what to expect from the four-part video series according to Sony Santa Monica:

Santa Monica Studio Creatives is a series focusing on 4 unique individuals of our family whose journey to our studio is as inspiring as their creative talents within. While their stories are candid, raw, and anything but normal, their expert crafts and collaboration within our creative walls hits the heart of what matters most to our studio culture – the team is everything.

In the first episode, which you can watch below, Sony Santa Monica Senior Staff Character Artist Rafael Grassetti is given the spotlight from his roots in Brazil, to what he’s doing now in SSM. Oh, and it shows Grassetti sculpting God of War’s Poseidon, too!

In part two, Technical Architect Bart Wronski is featured and his wizardry and love of coding. Based originally in Warsaw, Poland, Wronski started coding at the young age of seven! I don’t remember much when I was that young, but I’m fairly certain coding wasn’t one of my talents then.
