Doom Launch Trailer Released, PS4 & Xbox One Versions Require 50GB of Free Space

With just over a week to go until Doom releases on May 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Bethesda and id Software have brought out the launch trailer.

The video’s description says, “DOOM is back! With a brutal single-player campaign, iconic fast-paced multiplayer, and the ability to create and play your own levels with SnapMap, DOOM delivers all the guns, demons and action you’ve been craving. It’s time to Fight Like Hell.”

Over on Bethesda’s website, they revealed that the PS4 pre-load for Doom begins on Wednesday, May 11, at 12am ET in North America and 12am local time in the rest of the world. Then, on May 13, the game will unlock and the servers will go live at these times on both PS4 and Xbox One:

  • New Zealand @ 12 am local time
  • Australia @ 12 am local time
  • North America @ 12 am ET
  • Europe @ 12 am local time
  • Asia – 12 am local time.
  • Japan – 12 am local time on May 19th

Bethesda adds, “On your PS4 [and Xbox One], ensure that you have 50 GB available for the game install.”
