Rocket League Retail Version Coming in July, Full Contents Revealed

If you’re one of the few people waiting for a Rocket League retail release, then your wish will soon come true, as the Rocket League Collector’s Edition has officially been detailed by Psyonix.

Set for release this June 24 in Europe and July 5 in the US, the disc-based version of Rocket League will be priced at $29.99 and will include the following:

  • Three complete DLC Packs (Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run)
  • Four all-new vehicles *
  • Exclusive art print

Here’s the rest of the details straight from Psyonix:

* Note: The four new vehicles are timed exclusives, meaning that Collector’s Edition owners would have early access to the Battle-Cars for a limited number of weeks before they became available for purchase digitally to all players. We’ll have more information on these as we get closer to release.

If you’re new to Rocket League, then the above list of goodies join an already-awesome bounty of features and modes included in all versions of the game, including:

    • A Season Mode that allows players to enjoy a full single-player experience
    • Extensive Battle-Car customizations with more than 100 billion possible combinations
  • Unlockable items and vehicles, stat tracking, leaderboards, and more

  • Addictive 8-player online action with a variety of different team sizes and configurations

  • Amazing 2-, 3-, and 4-player splitscreen mode that can be played locally or taken online against other splitscreen players

  • Broadcast-quality replays that allow you to fast forward, rewind, or view the action from anywhere in the arena

  • Action-packed game modes such as Mutators, Snow Day, Hoops, and Rocket Labs

The Rocket League retail version will, of course, be available for PS4 and Xbox One and is being co-published by Psyonix and 505 Games.

Anyone picking this up? Heck, is there still a person out there who haven’t bought Rocket League yet?
