Kingdom Come: Deliverance Release Delayed to 2017 on PS4, Xbox One & PC

Earlier this year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios said the PC version of their realistic open-world medieval RPG would be delayed from its summer 2016 release window to launch alongside the console versions, which were expected by the end of the year. Today, they’ve announced that Kingdom Come won’t arrive until next year.

Confirming the delay to 2017 with WCCFTech, Warhorse Studios added on Twitter that the release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be announced either at E3 2016 in June or gamescom 2016 in August:

Here’s what Warhorse says about Kingdom Come’s gameplay:

Experience our unique combat system which is new and exclusive to the gaming market. We present real historical European sword-fighting. We have been working with experienced swordfighters, who helped us with the animations in our MoCap Studio. Together we have decoded the medieval sword-fighting techniques that can be mastered in-game.

You need time to understand and learn the patterns; you can’t rush into battle and win so easily! You can specialize in different fighting styles and choose various weapons: swords, axes, maces and many more! Before entering fights, don’t forget to armor yourself with the proper kit.

Mistakes are deadly!

Are you disappointed by the delay?
