When Silent Hills and its Playable Teaser became victims of the Kojima-Konami fiasco, the announcement of spiritual successor, Allison Road, had quite a few of us excited. Well, that excitement ends here as the game has officially been cancelled. Announcing the news on its Twitter page, developer Lilith Ltd said that a statement explaining the decision will be released within the next few days.
Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled. Statement to come in the next few days. Thanks for all your support and very sad it came to this.
Allison Road initially launched as a Kickstarter project but eventually cancelled the campaign when Team17 picked up publishing rights. We haven’t heard much about it since October last year so it’s hard to say how far into development the game was. Either way, we’ll find out what transpired when Lilith releases an official statement.
We’ll keep our readers posted.
