When BlazBlue: Central Fiction releases in November 2016 in North America for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, there will be a Limited Edition available, in addition to the $59.99/$49.99 USD standard edition. A price for the Limited Edition wasn’t given (an Amazon product listing should be up soon), but Aksys Games and Arc System Works did reveal what’s included inside:
- Deluxe Hardcover Art Book — Contains 100 pages of BlazBlue art celebrating the history of gaming’s flashiest 2D fighting series!
- Mini Noel Vermillion Nendoroid Figure — Supervised by Toshimichi Mori and forged by the masters at Good Smile. Noel strikes an iconic pose, sure to mesmerize collectors and fans alike!
- BlazBlue Song Interlude III Soundtrack — Ten tracks of in-game goodness bound to up your fighting drive!
Also announced today was Es from Xblaze as a playable fighter, who will be available for free from the PlayStation Store for the first two weeks after launch day (price after that TBA). As Aksys Games’ Danny Miscevich said, “While Es can be played as a straightforward beat stick, she has the ability to enhance her special moves, offering inventive fighters strategic flexibility.” Crest Arts, her drive, transforms the trail of her sword into a “massive avalanche of doom which gives her devastating attack power during offensive strikes.”
Central Fiction, the final chapter of the BlazBlue saga, won’t include English voices. Aksys Games revealed that this is because doing a dub would take an extra six to eight months:
For the dub – Scheduling is always extremely tight as we try and stay close to the J release. Basically boiled down to – game now w/ no dub. Game 6-8 months later w/ dub. We made a tough decision, but stick by it.
For clarification – We’re doing one release this Nov, not multiple for BBCF, no dub. No plans for a dub release or DLC atm.
