With the release of Assetto Corsa today in Europe for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (our review), it’s been revealed that there’s a £24.99 Season Pass available for purchase. As the description reveals, you’ll save money on the post-launch DLC for Assetto Corsa by buying the Season Pass, which includes access to the Japanese Pack, Red Pack, and Porsche DLC packs:
Save money on content for this game by purchasing the Season Pass. Content can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store or in-game once it is released.
The DLC Season Pass gives you access to the following future downloadable content – the JAPANESE PACK DLC, RED PACK DLC, and the upcoming PORSCHE DLC packs. In total over 30 new cars, as well as the Red Bull track, and also includes an exclusive livery and theme.
Release dates aren’t known for the post-launch DLC, just that they’re launching “in the coming months.”
Assetto Corsa releases on August 30 in North America for PS4 and Xbox One, so expect the Season Pass to appear on the PlayStation Store next week, likely priced at $29.99 USD.
If you’re planning on picking up the console version of Assetto Corsa, you’ll find over 90 cars, 24 configurations from 15 circuits, offline racing modes (Race Weekends, Special Events, Career Mode, and more), 16 player online via dedicated servers, an “advanced physics engine with features never seen on any other racing simulator, such as tyre flat spots, heat cycles, graining and blistering,” and more.
