At the PlayStation Meeting today, Sony officially announced the PlayStation 4 Slim. Priced at $299 USD/$379 CAD/€299/£259, it will be available in most markets on September 15 or 16.
Saying it will be the standard PS4 system moving forward and it will appeal to a wider audience, Sony’s Andrew House added that it will be more energy efficient and will contain all the same powerful components.
