Kingdom Come: Deliverance Release Date Announcement Happening Soon, Deep Silver to Publish

Developer Warhorse Studios announced today that they’ve partnered with Koch Media publishing label Deep Silver to co-publish Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Still set for release in 2017, Deliverance will be available through retail and digital stores on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with Deep Silver publishing everything except the digital PC version.

As Warhorse adds, Kingdom Come: Deliverance will launch simultaneously on all three platforms, with a firm release date to be announced “in the near future.”

A single-player, first-person, open-world RPG set in 1403, complete with historically authentic themes and combat, Deliverance will be able to reach a wider audience thanks to the publishing deal, Warhorse Studios CEO Martin Frývaldský said:

This is a great opportunity to bring Kingdom Come: Deliverance to more players around the world. Our best competence is to create an outstanding game. With Koch Media as a strong partner we will now have the chance to reach an even wider audience.

Koch Media CEO Dr. Klemens Kundratitz added:

We appreciate that Warhorse Studios went its own way and realised a strong and powerful vision by mobilising a vast community on their channels. We are now looking forward to being part of the next phase, to publish Kingdom Come: Deliverance on consoles and to help in the retail distribution of PC copies.

In a newsletter sent to Kickstarter backers, Warhorse said they’ll still remain in charge of “all creative and communication activity,” and backers won’t see any changes to rewards.
