Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Velvet Shell Content Arrives on February 7, Free Weekend Starts Thursday

Ubisoft has announced that Operation Velvet Shell, the first major content update for Year 2, will come to Rainbow Six Siege on February 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In addition to two Operators of the Spanish Grupo Especial de Operaciones (G.E.O.), Operation Velvet Shell includes Coastline, a new multiplayer map set on the rocky shores of Ibizi in Spain that will be available in both PvP and PvE.

“Get ready for an effervescent night ambiance with neon lights of bars and open-air parties, which Ibiza is famous for. Daytime is a hazy afternoon on a hot summer day after a long night out,” the Coastline description adds.

Expect more Operation Velvet Shell details and gameplay to become available this weekend.
