The Octavia’s Anthem update for free-to-play cooperative online action game Warframe is finally making its way to the PlayStation 4 today.
The update, which was previously released on the game’s PC version, brings with it two new creative tools for players to enjoy. The update also adds a new Warframe called Octavia, two new weapons designed specifically for the Octavia Warframe, a new quest, and more.
The new Warframe, Octavia, uses a new tool called the Mandachord which lets her use music to destroy enemies. Players can compose and share their own songs using the Mandachord as well as utilize the songs created by other players.
As for the new quest introduced with the Octavia’s Anthem update, here’s an overview:
The Octavia’s Anthem Quest will have you drawn into the Relay by the vast consciousness Cephalon Suda, whose strange, disoriented behavior warrants investigation. Find out what happened to Cephalon Suda before it’s too late and the knowledge she has collected is destroyed. Beware, Tenno, as darkness lingers.
The update also adds a new Captura tool, allowing players to compose, take, and edit significantly better screenshots in-game. The new tool comes with a large variety of filters, graphics, and editing tools to make it easy for players to come up and share awesome in-game photos.
