Treyarch’s Jason Blundell has confirmed to YouTuber JCbackfire that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles DLC is releasing on May 16 for PlayStation 4. Pricing and release dates for other platforms weren’t given.
Blundell said, “What we’ve done is a loving fan-service piece by making eight of the original maps, going back from World at War all the way through.” He later added, “We’ve lovingly recreated and remastered eight of the original maps.”
The maps included in Zombies Chronicles are listed below:
- Call of Duty: World at War – Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, and Shi No Numa
- Call of Duty: Black Ops – Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la, and Moon
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Origins
More details on Zombies Chronicles will be given during a livestream on Monday, May 8 at 11am PT/2pm ET. According to Blundell, the stream will also talk about some of the other celebrations they have planned for Black Ops 3.
