Ark: Survival Evolved’s Full Release Delayed as Retail Version Goes Gold

Studio Wildcard has announced that the full release of its action adventure title, Ark: Survival Evolved, has been pushed to August 29. The game’s retail release has achieved Gold Master certification but the process took a little longer than the developer had expected, hence the delay.

In a note on its website, Studio Wildcard wrote:

We’re deeply apologetic for those who were negatively affected by the delay; it sucks, it wasn’t what we had wanted, nor planned but where we currently stand. We wanted to address this sooner but did not want to make any statements until we were completely sure of what was going to happen.

As a result of this, the free Ragnarok DLC has also been delayed and its release will coincide with Ark: Survival Evolved‘s retail launch.
