For Honor Tribute Mode Revealed, Coming Soon For Free

Earlier today Ubisoft revealed that For Honor is getting a brand new game mode called Tribute Mode that will release in a future free update.

You can check out a trailer for the mode below:

Tribute Mode is a 4 v 4 multiplayer objective game mode that tasks players to capture three different offerings placed around the map and bring them back to one of their three shrines. Each shrine grants a different blessing (or buff) once an offering has been made. The list of blessings is as follows:

  • Vindicator Blessing: Gives your whole team a boost to attack, as well as a speed boost when carrying an Offering and faster interaction when stealing an Offering.
  • Guardian Blessing: Gives your whole team a small regenerating shield, as well as slowing enemy interaction when they try to steal your team’s Offering.
  • Oracle Blessing: Increases the awareness of your whole team. This includes showing, both in-world and on the radar, the location of an Offering carrier and the whole enemy team.

Because of the variety of each blessing, Ubisoft hopes players will try and strategize with your teammates to figure out what the best possible path is to capturing and delivering your offerings. Once you capture three, a countdown appears and you must defend them from the opposing team.

For Honor is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
