The UK division of Bandai Namco has announced that One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm will be available for the PlayStation 4 in physical format today, which should please fans who aren’t fans of the digital world.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is an enhanced port of the original game that was released back in 2014 for the PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS. The game tells the story of the Straw Hat Pirates as they sail to the Forgotten Island with a mysterious raccoon who has the power to bring to life anything drawn on a leaf. After landing on the island, the Straw Hats are kidnapped by a pirate and it’s up to Luffy to get his friends back.
The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy collects all three of the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm titles. These HD titles allow players to battle across environments performing powerful attacks and fighting it out for their ninja way.
We reviewed the original One Piece: Unlimited World Red way back in 2014 when it released, and you can see that below:
One Piece: Unlimited World Red is a good yet unspectacular game. There is a lot of content here between the story and coliseum mode, with a good 30+ hours of things to keep you busy. Yet, the content isn’t overly impressive and things like bug catching, fishing, and farming just feel forced and not fully thought out. The combat is deceptively deep with good AI teammates and unique combat moves, but also shallow in it’s utter lack of difficulty. There is a good game here hidden under layers of tacked on mini-games and half-baked ideas. If you can look past it all, fans of the series or newcomers all together will find plenty of wise cracking, good moments to enjoy.
Both One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy are available now.
