call of duty ww2 update 1.08 patch notes

Call of Duty: WWII Update 1.03 Out Now, Only 70MB

Call of Duty: WWII update 1.03 is now live for those that have managed to secure an early copy of Activision’s highly anticipated first-person shooter. Unlike 1.02, which was a hefty 9GB large, this update is only slightly over 70MB. That’s a tiny patch, and it doesn’t seem to bring much with it. Since the patch notes haven’t been released (which makes sense considering the game isn’t out yet), we don’t have the full tweaks come with 1.03.

While the latest update is tiny, players will still have to download Call of Duty: WWII update 1.02 before they can play the game’s campaign mode. Otherwise, the mode is unplayable for players. It’s definitely an inconvenience but, there have certainly been larger day-one patches in the past. It really just signals how the gaming world is constantly changing, and is vastly different than even a decade ago.

For more on the story, here’s how developer Sledgehammer Games describes the Call of Duty: WWII campaign:

Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany. The journey begins on November 3.

Call of Duty: WWII releases on November 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
